I don't get it. -
I enjoyed a lot of the satirical elements, but if there was some deeper meaning here, it was lost on me. I understand Pynchon himself has called this the least favorite of his novels.

Great first novel. -
A silly, surreal comic novel along the lines of Robert Rankin's work. But you'll have to get past the numerous grammatical errors.

The Man Who Ate Everything
Not so much a book as a collection of essays on food, cooking, and eating. Very funny at times.
