  • Not so much with the good art

    I dunno, I guess I was expecting more due to my love of wings and especially winged people. This book just didn't meet my expectations though. Some nice pictures, but mostly not what I'd consider worth paying for.

    Refreshing Fantasy/Horror/Mystyry series

    I've had so much trouble finding stuff that gets me excited to read lately. My two favorite authors, Terry Goodkind, and Laurell K.     I've had so much trouble finding stuff that gets me excited to read lately. My two favorite authors, Terry Goodkind, and Laurell K. Hamilton, havn't been delivering on quite the level they were when I got into their series. Kim Harrison's series is an excellent new offering. It's not afraid to be violent or sexy if it needs to be, but it doesn't get bogged down in such things needlessly. I remember reading Anita Blake mystery novels, and now each new title, while still well written, has less action and more... "action."

    This is the fourth book in Harrison's series about her characters in the Hollows. Witchcraft, fairies, and a Vampire Pizzaria are some of the staples of this series which, so far, just keeps getting better.
