Difficilmente capita che un libro mi "manchi" dopo averlo letto. Il petalo cremisi è uno di questi. E Sugar è un personaggio che rimane, con i suoi tormenti e le sue passioni. Dispiace non poterla seguire ancora. Faber ti catapulta in un'Inghilterra vittoriana che riesci quasi a vedere,

Difficilmente capita che un libro mi "manchi" dopo averlo letto. Il petalo cremisi è uno di questi. E Sugar è un personaggio che rimane, con i suoi tormenti e le sue passioni. Dispiace non poterla seguire ancora. Faber ti catapulta in un'Inghilterra vittoriana che riesci quasi a vedere,
così come riesci a conoscere i personaggi, tanto è sviscerata la loro psicologia. Nonostante la sua mole (981 pag!), il libro scorre bene, appassiona, anche se, a volte, la novizia di particolari rende la lettura meno fluida. Ho trovato la fine un pò troppo repentina, ma Sugar non mi ha deluso!
