The Reviews don't do justice to this book. The story is well developed the only complain would be that the ending wraps up to fast.

Great Urban Fantasy -
I was scared to start this series because I was inlove with Nalini's Psy/changeling series. Now that I have read Angels' Blood I can't believe how good the series is and its almost addiction as Singh's other series.
Raphael is the Archangel of New York he is arrogant, powerful and the strongest ... (

The story started out way toooooo slow but then it got better. Overall it was a good sequal to cry wolf. Anna and Charles relationship is still very raw but it continues to improved. I look forward to the next installment of Alpha and Omega in 2011.

I did not like the story line but mostly its not that its bad writen or not entertaining but the fact that I miss the Darkyn, and no matter how much I try to like the Kyndred its not the same. The more I read about the Kyndred I become more nostalgic and continue to wish that Viehl's publisher would ... (

This book was a wild ride with a lot of action drama and the steamy, passionate love scenes between Cat and Bones that some found lacking in “At Grave's End” have been pushed up a notch. Destined for an Early Grave digs deeps into the psyche and emotions of Cat and Bones. This time they are not only tested by both outside sources, but also by their inner turmoil. There is one such individual who wants Cat and there are doubts Cat has when it comes to Bones. Cat may know how to kill bad guys with great skill, but when it comes to Bones she shuts off. And because of these esteem issues she is responsible for the possible destruction of her relationship with Bones.
Destined for an Early Grave begins with Cat and Bones going on a vacation. Cat wants to go to Paris for no reason that she can think of. Off they go not expecting an adventure that may ruin their whole foundation of devotion and trust. Cat shares her heart and body with Bones but won't allow him to access her mind and deepest thoughts. Bones feels hurt even though he knows that Cat has problems with letting others get too close.
Six years before Cat and Bones met, she was taken by Gregor to Paris. Gregor tried to gain the trust of the fragile sixteen year old Cat, seduce her and marry her because he knew of what Cat would become in the years to come. Cat doesn't remember Gregor because Mencheres had rescued her and erased her memories of him. Mencheres also knows how important Cat is and made sure Cat and Bones would meet. Now Gregor is invading Cat's dreams in order to take her away from Bones so she can remember their marriage.
Cat knows her heart belongs to Bones, but she needs her memories back. Bones is scared and doesn't want Cat anywhere near Gregor. What if Cat regains her memories and wants to be with Gregor? Both Cat and Bones are walking around egg shells with one another. Cat wants to confront Gregor head on. Bones wants Cat to completely trust him, be honest with him and to believe in his power to get rid of Gregor. And when Cat goes off and deals with Gregor after Bones tells her not to, he is fed up. What happens after that will have you clutching the book and gasping because the thought of Bones and Cat not being together is horrible!
Destined for an Early Grave gives the readers more insight into the vampire culture Frost has created. Bones and Cat's support system is wonderful. The secondary characters keep things in perspective and lighthearted. Some of the characters may not make it in the end and you will have no idea who.
Destined for an Early Grave was a very enjoyable and fun. Those who are fans of this series will be very happy with the results.
