Found it alongside another book about vampires. So, being that it was by Anne Rice, for a good 300 pages I kept expecting someone to turn out to be a vampire...
Two words not about the subject matter, but about this edition itself: they tried to cram too many pages in a paperback, and that didn't leave enough room for the central margin. So it's practically impossible to read it without ending up with breaking the spine... ... (continue)
