For some reason I could not enjoy this book as much as the first book in the series. Both the world and the characters were still enjoyable but I disliked some parts of the plot; it seemed cliche and repetitive at times not to mention somewhat depressing. For some reason I could not enjoy this book as much as the first book in the series. Both the world and the characters were still enjoyable but I disliked some parts of the plot; it seemed cliche and repetitive at times not to mention somewhat depressing. I also would have preferred a more resolved or uplifting end, but since this is a series it is no surprise that some things have been left unresolved.
