I really enjoyed this book because it's aboslutely not like another book I had ever read. It's very interesting the oportunity that lend us the autor to look the world through the point of view of an autistic boy. It also gets you to think about how do we behave with another people, frequently wrongly.

What has liked me the most of this story is that teaches you that with effort you can reach anything that you want to reach, regardless of the dificulties you could have.

Would you recommend it to another Level 4 student?
Yes, I recommend this book to another Level 4 students because it's a good story with not a very difficult vocabulary. I recommend it too to anyone who wants to read a diferent and interesting novel.

Cold Mountain as a novel, in my opinion, although I enjoy with the romantic and dramatic novels, I have found it quite slow and lack of action. The author makes you get involved in the story, and imagine the scene and situation, but I think it´s spends too much time explaining all the details.
Personally, I haven´t found it difficult to read, it has a quite affordable vocabulary, which makes the reading to be agile.

'Four Wedding And A Funeral' is a book based on a really good film. It explains a funny history about one man who's searching true love and also it criticizes the typical English weddings.
I've whatched before the film than I read the book but I enjoyed too. I recommend this book to anyone who likes romantic comedy.

This is a really easy-to-read book for level 4 students. It is written in first person by Christopher, a 15 years old boy with an autistic spectrum condition. He is a genius but is severely limited by his fears and difficulties when interpreting the world around him. Christopher starts an investigation to finds out who killed the neighborhood dog, dealing with all his limitations.
I totally recommend this book because of its simple language, interesting story and main character and is not really long also. I purchased it in amazon as an e-book.

I really like this book, because makes you thing a bit about the structure of the world. About how we accept everything without saying anything. About how a democracy can pass to be a tirany without us noticing.
It's a book a bit difficult to undertand because some of the words have to be looked at in the dicctionary and it has a lot of description. But the history compensates all this matters. When you have it in your hands you can't put it down.
I get it in the library of the faculty of Medicine and I'm not sure but I thing that there's more than one copy.
In conclusion, I really recommend this book to everybody. As I said before, maybe it's kind of difficult for a level 4, but if you really want to improve a bit of work won't kill.

This is a book that, personally, I have enjoyed reading. The vocabulary is relatively easy and it´s no long or boring. The love story is beautiful, powerful and unusual, so you can love it despite you don´t like romantic novel. And there are a lot of Japanese elements that can make you enjoy a lot if you are fan of Japanese culture, as I am. Also you can learn some Japanese vocabulary and habits from geisha. I think geisha´s world is a very interesting topic and usually unknown in occident. The fact is that most people have a wrong idea about what a geisha is. This book can help a lot in this point. It can also teach us history of Japan, principally during the World War II.
Memories of a geisha was made film some years ago. I had seen the film before reading the book and I can say that they are pretty different, not in the important one, but in details. When I saw the film I was shocked for the beautiful of it. Geisha were splendid and set was also very evocative. It helps a lot when you read the book because you remember the characters, sets, movements and make-up in an intensive way. I think you can enjoy more the book watching the film first and I recommend it.
To sum up, I think Memories of a geisha is a great book. Beautiful, informative, hard and unusual, it can´t be missed in your list of read books.

First, I want say that this book is easy to read, and you haven’t got to search a lot of vocabulary. For this reason I advise to read strangers in the train. For other hand the books argument is peculiar because it’s a history a few outgoing where one history is introduced in another, but all the time you know that it’s happening and you can put in order the sequence of the book. Also I recommend this book because since the principle you are intrigued for the events. The main action is a double murder and with this idea there is a game between two personages. In this book the lesson is a war between good and evil. To other, the book is short and in three or four days you can finish it. I got it in medicine library of UAB.

All I want is a novel written by Margaret Johnson which talks about Alex. The whole story makes us believe that the greatest desire of Alex is Brad, her boss. At the end, she discovers that what she really wants in not so different than she actually has.

I really like this book because through a simple and daily story it gets reflect feelings like jealously or possession and teaches us to appreciate what we have and fight for what we want to achieve.

I would recommend it to another level 4 student because I think that it use properly language that allows us to follow the story and immerse ourselves in it. Moreover, the chapters are short and at the beginning of the novel there are a list of the characters and a map of the areas where the story will occur that helps us not to lose the plot.

I have enjoyed a lot! I knew that this book was one of the most famous from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, so I was afraid that I didn’t understand anything, but fortunately, I did. The book is focused in discover who is the murder of Charles Baskerville by the detective Holmes and his friend Watson. When they were thinking about the crime, the possible assassins, it made you think too. Sometimes, I get the same conclusions before than them. This made that I was much interested in the story. However this doesn’t mean that the book was predictable. Step by step you are discovering more clues and finally you realized that all have sense.

Would you recommend it to another Level 4 student?
Yes. At the beginning, I have difficulties to follow the story because there were some words of vocabulary that I didn’t understand and the context didn’t help me. So, you have to use the dictionary and for that reason, when they appeared again you knew their meaning. This fact, you’re learning new words, because you remembered the meaning without help.

I enjoyed this book because, although is a diary, the story is not boring, thanks to there happen a lot of little stories and some of them are funny.

I recommend this book because is really easy and fast to read. Moreover, the story is entertaining and this make easier the reading.

I really enjoyed this book because the plot is very intriguing. It has secrets, lies, infidelities and strange characters in shocking situations. It could perfectly be a soap opera script.
The most attractive thing is that the author gives you subtly all the keys and you have to imagine what happened linking some events. But you won’t confirm your suspicion until the last chapter.
Apart from the plot, you can see what the people expected about the life, the marriage and the family in 1940. What is more, this story teaches you that nothing lasts forever and you have to appreciate all the good times of your life.

Would you recommend it to another Level 4 student?
Yes, I recommend this book to everybody who enjoys this type of stories. There are some difficult words and expressions but you don’t have to take the dictionary constantly. You can read it fluently. The only problem is that you have to pay attention because in the story, the time passes quickly and sometimes you don’t get what is happening.

In my opinion, this is a book with six mysterious stories.
I really liked it because I love this type of books.
Each story has their own plot with a lot of details. All the stories have the same point of view, the point of view of Watson, a really close friend of Sherlock. Then, you can imagine you are inside of each story (That makes you feel useful).
This book shows you how a man, Arthur Conan Doyle, has the ability to make you feel inside the story. And his stories make you think too.

Would you recommend it to another Level 4 student?
Yes, the vocabulary is perfect, because Crime and Punishment is a topic of our level. There are some expressions, words... that we will have some problems to understand but the context help us to make it easier.
In addition, the chapters are short and you can follow it, but the mystery is kept until the end.

In my opinion, this is an incredible history that teaches you the power of the hope and optimism in difficult situations. The reason that makes Anne’s diary so advisable is the different point of view of the Second World War that offers you. Anne’s point of view is full of optimism even her situation is so hard. Anne explains to her diary his live in the hiding-place and that offers you two opposite views of the situation. From one hand, the difficulties and troubles that the residents of the hiding-place have. From the other hand Anne tells us that, despite her situation, good and important things happens to her.
In conclusion, I recommend this book to another level 4 student. Is a pleasant history with an easy style of writing (the style of a thirteen girl) and it uses a lot of vocabulary of personality that we learned in class.

I liked this book as the argument is related to what I'm studying right now. However, it may also like people who don't study things related to. Each chapter presents new situations that make you confuse about the eventual end. In addition, the book contains some words that we learned in 4rd level (words related to criminal activities. In general, I recommend it because it's easy to understaing and has a plot that grips you. I get it in UAB's library.
