Alice Munro, always the best speculator of humanity, of what make you human, with all contradiction and painful little betrayals. The 'Runaway' eponym story is absolute perfection, and the others are pretty close.

One was enough, the sequel is absolutely pointless. Simply too too too long and the plot is a photocopy of the previous one.

This woman (Atwood) is amazing, really. The story is incredibly well written, disturbing, painful, and deep. Can't wait to read another one.
