  • It is a funny book, but the story itself is nothing special. It was a gift and I have been hesitating a lot before I started reading it.

    Faccio una premessa: E' la prima volta che leggo Murakami in inglese e devo dire che questa traduzione non mi piace tanto quanto la traduzione italiana.

    Faccio una premessa: E' la prima volta che leggo Murakami in inglese e devo dire che questa traduzione non mi piace tanto quanto la traduzione italiana.
    Questo libro lo colloco tra quelli che io considero appartenere all'altro Murakami (la Ragazza dello sputnik, A sud del confine a ovest del sole, Tutti i figli di Dio danzano e Tokyo blues). E' un genere piu leggero rispetto al Murakami di Dance Dance Dance, La fine del mondo e il paese delle meraviglie e L'uccello che girava le viti del mondo. Ma non per questo meno interessante. Diciamo soltanto che dal mio punto di vista e' meno coinvolgente, non mi ha fatta sentire come se fossi parte della storia, piuttosto smi sentivo spettatrice.
    Il libro comunque merita di essere letto.
