I definitely think this series has lost it's spark for me. Really enjoyed the first two; the past two have been pretty much - eeh.

This book is an interesting futuristic urban fantasy. However there are quite a few loose ends and things left unexplained, so hopefully the next book in the series will help fill in the blanks.

An extremely unique book that taps directly into the raw pain of an abused adolescent - so much so that it is oftentimes actually painful to read. The big plot twist at the end doesn't come as much of a surprise, however that in no way takes away from the power of this book.

The story felt extremely disjointed. I'm not sure if this is part of a series which would help give a structure to this book, if so, it definitely does not do well as a stand-alone story. Uses pretty much the same formula as Twilight but with a werewolf as the love interest instead of a vampire.

While not perfect, I think this has been the best of the series so far. I've always loved the plot action in these books but found the over-the-top caricaturization of the main character incredibly annoying.
