THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO -
I enjoyed this book very much. A good plot. A fair bit of violence but when the girl had her revenge it felt good. Quite an unlikely heroine - abused, not much education, Aspergers syndrome.

Tells the very sad story of one family who were victims of the stolen generation. it's hard to believe that an adoptive mother could be so utterly cruel and that the welfare people could be so STUPID and uncaring. I wanted to hug the girls in the story and say how sorry I felt about their treatment.

I reread this book and really enjoyed the detail the second time. A very disfunctional family.

A real insight into the world of Asperger's Syndrome. A new member of our bookclub has a 4 year old with this condition and a friend has a possible case also. Very interesting.

The girl who played with fire
Another good yarn from Stieg Larrson.
