I read this book the first time when I was about 12 and I hated it. Just couldn't stand those stupid people following rules without thinking; I thought all of them went a bit crazy. Back then, I didn't understand social behaviour, peer presure and psychology; a bit naive and judging by my instints. Reading it again now, 27, I think it's an excellent book. History repeats itself; but it's our job to learn from history.
