So far this is one of the best Rebus' novel I've read, maybe the best one. John struggling in his professional life, but his personal one is worse (Sammy in trouble again...and Jack...). I think is one of the milestones of the series.

Black and Blue By Ian Rankin
  • I've read it before in italian (Morte Grezza) and I've liked it. After I've reading it once more I appreciate more, maybe because I knew more about the previous stories. All the same one of the best Rebus' which I've read.

I Am Legend By Richard Matheson

Very good book. You can feel the loneliness of the "Last Man in the World", surrounded by vampires and his struggling research to a way to go on in his life, trying to escape from his memories and searching a "creature" to love.

Strip Jack By Ian Rankin
  • One of the best books of John Rebus' series, at the level of Knots & Crosses.

Tooth And Nail By Ian Rankin
  • Bel libro, bella trama e scritto bene (per quanto possa giudicare in inglese), il solito John Rebus e personaggi azzeccati.

  • The usual style of Matheson, very well written;Very very sad book, in most of the pages, but a very nice end.

Let It Bleed: (An Inspector Rebus Novel) By Ian Rankin
  • From the start seems a book in which more of the Rebus's story will be outlined. From the middle of the book, you're waiting for something to happen...Very good final.

Mortal Causes By Ian Rankin

The usual good old Rebus... It worth more than 3 star and a half, maybe not 4. But the pages with big gear cafferty (specially the last meet of the two of them) you'll read with more and more pleasure. All the book is very good.

The Little Prince By Antoine de Saint-Exupery
  • When you start reading it, try not to be "growed-up" and (not as me...) try to read it as a baby. You'll find more enjoyment and, re-teaching. But, in the end, has been hard not to cry...

  • It's not too simply to be read, and not completely gripping for now.

The Black Book: (Inspector Rebus S.) By Ian Rankin
  • Grow up slowly... In the end you'll find the usual Rebus, despite the final part seems to hastly writen. Good Rankin, it worth 3/4 Stars. You'll meet Siobhan and know better Big Ger Cafferty.

Hide and Seek By Ian Rankin
  • Sarà la lettura in inglese, non sempre coinvolgente appieno. In ogni caso si respirano le atmosfere di Rankin e tutte le caratteristiche della serie di Rebus. Sicuramente un buon libro.
