This is a good book for knowing the works and life of Constantine in the history of Ancient Roman.
The author, Hans A. Pohlsander, describes the contribution of Constantine for the empire. Also, he doesn't judge him as a good or bad emperor easily. Just let readers to think about it. Because we can find out his good and bad sides in the history. He won the battle against the barbarians, and to be the first Christanity emperor in history. However, he also killed his beloved wife and son when needs.
After reading this book, it lets me to know more about a side of the true story of this famous emperor while I am also reading another great works by Edward Gibbon, "The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" right now.
