Veramente bello il terzo della serie: la cosa più affascinante è la trama, che sembra incomprensibile per un lungo periodo, fino a quando piano piano non svela la sua coerenza interna.
Sembra un po' un giallo in una veste fantasy.

Devo un po' rivedere i miei pregiudizi: Rowling è certamente al livello di Dahl, che non è poco.
Il primo della seria è molto leggero e divertente; non inquietante è preoccupante, ma bello da leggere.

Che libro meraviglioso! Spero che esca presto per i lettori italiani, e che venga tradotto bene.
Il lettore prende dalla prima all'ultima pagina, guidando il lettore in un mondo fantastico immerso nella realtà della Germania medievale, il tutto reso con un realismo incredibile.

Il libro è bello e certo vale gli altri della serie: l'inizio sembra un libro d'azione e la fine anche; e sono scritti in maniera da prenderti.
La parte centrale è strana: si trascina un po' e non si capisce dove vada a parare, ma alla fine tutto torna.
