An essential practical guide for any one who is planning for a trek in the Everest Region in Nepal, especially if you don't want a guide. The trail guides are full of details. Although the maps are only very simple sketches, they are incredibly accurate. I found the itineraries given in Appendix A particularly useful. It was written on a "Day 1, Day 2" basis in order to facilitate the Trekker's planning.
