OMG I HATED THIS BOOK!! I had heard quite a bit about this book, so I decided to read it. I think it is the most horrible book I've ever forced myself to finish. I kept hoping it would get better, but that never happened. I was more than disappointed- I was disgusted by this book.

My new favorite book ever!!
I thought there was no way the final novel in the Twilight Saga could measure up to the precedent set by the prior three books, but I was completely wrong! I loved the whole book. The ending was fantastic, creative, and unexpected. (Especially in comparison to other series such as Harry Potter, whose happy ending was completely boring and mundane.) I loved the changes in Bella throughout the novels. I think that it is her flaws and the changes she goes through that make her human, (later vampire ;) and that make her seem so realistic as a character. And I really liked that a third of the book was from JACOB's perspective ;)

I did enjoy this book quite a bit, but I think that Jodi Picoult needs to vary her writing style. I did enjoy this book quite a bit, but I think that Jodi Picoult needs to vary her writing style. This is the third book that I have read by her, and each has the same plot; drama, flashbacks, and more drama all leading up to a (dramatic) court scene, then winding down to the conclusion. I like that she puts little random facts into each of her novels, because I think it helps her gain credibility, and its obvious that she possesses a ton of court knowledge.

I loved this book. I didn't think it could possibly live up to my expectations after reading the Twilight books, but I think it held its own. Meyer is fantastic at creating emotionally believable characters. I loved that this book had such a different plot, setting, and voice than the Twilight books. Many authors make all their books too similar, but these were completely different. One of my new favorite books!!

My Sister's Keeper

Very interesting, well written book. It certainly brings up quite a bit of controversy about designer babies and other medical decisions. The ending was extremely depressing!! But it did fit with the book.

The Handmaid's Tale

Really interesting book... It reminded me a little of the book 1984, except with a more feminist view. I really like the writing style of the author, it sounds almost poetic.
