I absolutely love British fiction!! I find it much more smooth, airy, fun and fresh and this book is no different. The story is well written, love all the characters. I have to say I found a bit of myself in this book

Maybe not a book to read on Christmas day.....
As usual a very well written story, well paced, interesting and fun. At times all the medical explanations can get a little boring to me -

You can tell that is has not been written by an American. The story is complex, but also the writing is complex, at time seeming slow, but gripping and interesting. A plus....it is nice to recognize buildings, streets, places....

Well, i have read her books before but not in order, not one after the other. I begin to see a pattern now. And I am not impressed, men (and women) who fall in love in a day....survivors of everything that happens, each character almost a photocopy of the prior. Not so interesting when read too clos ... (

High Tea
An easy read, charming and fairy like. I totally saw myself in a couple of places, mostly when talking about missing the country you were born and trying to find your place in the usa. Then going back and feeling like maybe it's not all there
