Cover of Batman

  • This is the comic that got me back into comics. That comics were going to be gritty, violent, and adult. It would take awhile for Creator-owned comics to catch up, but they do. I love this book.

    I have only just picked it up, and read a few random passages, and some of the letters from Hunter, and the writing is so incredibly personal and modernly eloquent, I am in love. I have not read any of Steadman's other books, I'll have to remedy that soon.

    The idea of Hunter being dead, depresses me, only in the pessimistic thought that the world now could never produce and tolerate a power house that is Hunter. I miss you Hunter S....
