As a young man, i used to love Alan Moore, as the best cominc writer (and one of the best storyteller) on earth (and i still do) and
i used to love Bill Sienkiewicz as the best comic artist (only for his high quality graphic novels, of course) on earth (and i still do).
At that time i used to listen to "The cure" music all day long (and i still do).

Probably you can barely imagine how did i felt when i found in my comic shop something by Alan Moore and Bill Sienkiewicz.
Was so happy i had to open the book while walking on the street, could not wait till home.
but you cannot imagine my expression, my feelings, and my shout when i, opening the first few pages, found this:

I think i have felt this way in life only a couple of times.
And still i do remember that one.

C'e' stato un periodo durato almeno 3 o 4 anni, durante i quali se mi chiedevano "ti piacciono i fumetti con i supereroi?", io rispondevo di si, malgrado abbia sempre odiato batman, superman e compagnia bella.
Rispondevo di si perche' avevo letto Watchmen.
Ma era cosi' evidente sin dall'inizio che Watchmen non tratta di supereroi, e non e' neanche semplicemente un fumetto.
