I fell in love with this saga for no reason: I know they're not the best books I've ever read, but I like them, the story, the insane stupidity of the main character, Sookie - what kind of name is it?! - and the background - I love this not-France-but-almost-FrenchAmerican places!

my personal zen way -
these days i'm thirsty of this kind of water, soul water.
i need it. i need to read and to fill my mind with wise and deep words. and that's what i got from this book. wise and deep words, a kind of vade mecum about life, and meditation, and peace-with-self. - — Apr 18, 2010 | Add your feedback

when i finished to read "True Blood" books, i thought "oh, gosh, i need more vampires in my life" and i begun this saga.
immediatly i realized that what i wanted was an adult vampire, because this is a bit too young for me - but it's nice.
everything considered, i think it's a perfect teenager fiction saga, with the stupidity proper of adolescence, its contradictions and its short contact with reality.
yes, it's a stupid version of vampires, not slaves of their animal instincts but serious, kind and polite.
yes, the main character - bella - is a kind of rag doll without a personality that gravitates around edward.
a bit bigot and unrealistic: how can you think that a couple of teenager could resist to their hormones for so long? where are their tongues when they're kissing? c'mon!
BUT
1. it could have been the book of my dream when I was a teenager, absolutely;
2. inspite of my distate of wolfes, they're so pretty: complex, difficult, different from other characters;
3. i improved my english knowledge (^_^)
