    My Thoughts

Three amazing quotes from the novel:
    • "'It's the first day of the rest of your life!" - Mark Singer (page 200)
    • "'There's no way to impose order on chaos - not even if you let everybody make decisions for you!'" - Mark Singer (page 209)

This book is AMAZING! I recommend it to EVERYONE! It's a MUST READ type of books!
The story revolves around sixteen year old Ted Burger (yes that is his last name!)
Burger is the "ordinary" teenage boy who hangs out with his best friend Mark Singer and his girlfriend Nikki (whom he secretly lusts for and wants to impress) at a local diner.
It was suppose to be an "ordinary" day for the trio when his best friends decide to make him a list of stuff he HAD to do for spring break. They told him he had to live the first day of spring break like if it was his last... well needless to say by the weird twist of events it does turn into his last day of life.
He uses the list his friends made and tried to accomplish it to live and realizes through out the book he's never lived.
A really touching story that hits the heart like no other... well, not exactly, but still an amazing read!

There were some pretty good careers in there, but it'd be best to get a book that's more updated.

I bought this book quite a while ago and never really got around to reading it, up till recently I picked it up to see if I could read it, I read a few stories, but was never quite able to sit down and read it, not until today either way. Well unfortunately there are people in the world that do steal and as I left my class I forgot it there, once I realized it was missing it was too late, someone had stolen it. I recommend this book to all fans of stories of the creepiest creatures.

Again, like the 100 Creepy Little Creature stories, I really could sit down with this book and enjoy it, I'm not really into the "short little mysteries". So if you would like to enjoy mysteries between meetings or whatever adults do these days, this would be a good recommendation for y'all.

I really enjoyed this novel, it did leave me confused a bit from time to time, but it's not hard to catch on. During this whole novel I guessed the murder wrong three times, so best be on your toes future readers of this novel.

There was a real killer in this novel for me, that's why I gave it three stars instead of four. `SPOILER` The fact Chris dies in the end totally just blew me away! I really would have liked it more if Patterson would have given him a much larger role in the series than he played. `END OF SPOILER`
In all, a fantastic book, but beware there are some sexually explicit things in this novel.

A fantastic book to read if one has a busy schedule. Almost every tale I could immediately connect with a peer. Perfect for people who never got to experience the prom or might not be able to. I really loved how Lindsay grew in this novel with everything that happened to her in such a short time period. I would have liked a little more of the killer's point of view in this novel, but otherwise, another successful thriller for Patterson.

When some one's house gets blown up and they find threats of other future incidents such as these, it can't be ignored as a terrorist action, but what message are these terrorist trying to convey? So called justice? Revenge? Or perhaps both.
Patterson once again keeps you on your toes and delivers a few tears along the way to the end of this novel of the "Woman's Murder Club" series.

Cover of 4th of July
  • My Thoughts

"4th of July" is another great thiller of The Woman's Murder Club Series. Patterson's fourth installment of the series along with Paetro.
This book was more of a court case more than the homicide case. There was a case involved, but this was more about Lt. Boxer than it was about the WMC.

What should be loved about this novel is that it opens the eyes to the police's side of story in any court case. People tend to side with the victim without knowing the whole truth.
Overall, another great novel by Patterson.
