  • This book was good, and I loved Rhage & Mary together a lot, but I found myself wanting to always skip through the parts about Mr. X and O and U and E and such. I felt like they were always there and never really amounted up to much. The whole Zadist & Bella subplot was too much to handle. I feel like there's so much there between them that they should just have their own separate story rather than to try and take over Rhage & Mary's... and it seems like Ward finally realized that too, only a little too late. Other than that, this book was very good and enjoyable. :) ... (continue)

  • I liked this book, but at the same time, I thought the first was better. There was more fire in the first one, or something. Although I was glad to see Bones & Cat reunited (definitely), I feel like this book just kind of... passed me by. There was nothing much that REALLY stands out about it. I think there was too much jealousy, too many exes, and maybe not enough focus on the actual main plot. Also, I don't know why, but I felt like we didn't really get to see as much of Bones & Cat in...more I liked this book, but at the same time, I thought the first was better. Also, I don't know why, but I felt like we didn't really get to see as much of Bones & Cat interaction, or not to the extent that we deserved after such a reunion. It felt like not much had changed between them, like she never left, and they barely discussed it except for in the beginning. I would think that a newly reunited couple after all those years would be very... passionate, or something. I'm not sure. But it just wasn't there :\

All the same, it was a good book, I just tend to look at the critical points. I still love Bones & Cat a lot, and enjoyed this book. ... (continue)
