Decisamente sopravvalutato. La trama è noiosa, di poco valore (insomma, parla di un uomo che cerca di pescare un pesce), l'unica cosa da ammirare è il carattere del personaggio principale.
Si apprezza meglio se contestualizzato al periodo in cui è stato scritto.
