I thought Kava got a good publisher to get her all the blobs she needs. The plot is predictable and not very exciting. She hid some minor schemes not to reveal until the very late chapters, like "Mr. Vice President's" chief staff's position. The characters are lack of depth, and Kava just hid all their history from the readers and thought she can surprise everyone.
Maybe her previous books are much better to win her fame of various credentials and New York Times' best seller title, but I don't see the laudable quality from this one.

I thought Kava got a good publisher to get her all the blobs she needs. The plot is predictable and not very exciting. She hid some minor schemes not to reveal until the very late chapters, like "Mr. Vice President's" chief staff's position. The characters are lack of depth, and Kava just hid all their history from the readers and thought she can surprise everyone.
