Good read -
A bit slow to start but really got interested once I kept going. The ending totally hit me off guard, I did not expect it at all.

A very good book! -
A bit slow to start but then the pace picks up and the next thing you know you are totally sucked into the story line. This book is not for the faint of heart and also not for people who get attached to characters. George RR Martin has no qualms about killing people!

Very Tolkien'ish but not as "heavy". I would just like to say I was VERY impressed that Paolini started writing Eragon when he was around 15 years old...that is one reason I wanted to read it...to see what this kid had written. I was blow away; I could not put this book down. Every moment of my day ... (continue)

When I finished Eragon I moved right on to Eldest and it was the same, I could not put it down. You find as you read not only is Eragon's life followed but also people close to him and you end up getting wrapped up in their stories as much as you do his own. Oh and the pronunciation/translation guid ... (continue)

IT WAS SO GOOD! I started this book on a Saturday morning and could not put it down. Seriously, I had finsihed the book by Saturday evening. It is the type of book that the story hooks you from the first line and you just have to find out what happens. If you are the type of person who likes suspens ... (continue)

In the Hollow Hills (book 2) the book takes you on a journey through Merlin's point of view of him going and getting Arthur from his boy hood home. It tells of Merlin taking Arthur to his rightful place as King and teaching him as a young boy. I love the writing of the interaction between young Arth ... (continue)

This book tells everything through Mordred’s eyes and it all leads up to the climatic end. You'll just have to read to find out! ;) I will say this even though Mordred is suppose to bring the "end" of Arthur, Stewart’s writing and tale of the story made me grow to understand and really like the char ... Great Read! -
Basically this book is #1 in a trilogy that tells a fictional story from the Arthurian time. It is all about Merlin (you know the magician from King Arthur) when he was younger and the things that happened to him during his childhood.
I really loved the depth of the book and how it dug down de ... (continue)

When I was younger my grandmother bought this book for me as a gift at a yard sale. I still have this book, it is slightly beat up and worn from many readings. The book was a great read in my youth and I will even admit to pulling it off the shelf for a re-read as an adult. :)
