When I finished Eragon I moved right on to Eldest and it was the same, I could not put it down. You find as you read not only is Eragon's life followed but also people close to him and you end up getting wrapped up in their stories as much as you do his own. Oh and the pronunciation/translation guid ... (

The Darkest Evening of the Year
Good Book -
This book was a realling "interesting" read. I love the dog theme but some of the story line was just F'd up. Not like F'd up in a this is stupid way but more like F'd up in a give you creepy dream way. I like Dean Koontz though and expect just about anything from him. The book kept me wondering th ... (

When I was younger my grandmother bought this book for me as a gift at a yard sale. I still have this book, it is slightly beat up and worn from many readings. The book was a great read in my youth and I will even admit to pulling it off the shelf for a re-read as an adult. :)

Danielle Steel always seems to fit the bill when I am in the mood for a romance novel....most of the time I enjoy her books. This one was good, it had a bit of mystery and surprise to it.

Good read -
A bit slow to start but really got interested once I kept going. The ending totally hit me off guard, I did not expect it at all.

Eragon
Very Tolkien'ish but not as "heavy". I would just like to say I was VERY impressed that Paolini started writing Eragon when he was around 15 years old...that is one reason I wanted to read it...to see what this kid had written. I was blow away; I could not put this book down. Every moment of my day ... (continue)
