if you love Jane Austens Persuasion then this is a must !
it shows the rejection,hurt,pain and love of captain wentworth which we didnt see in Jane's book though the style of writing is different Amanda has kept very true to the classic story and the characters .

i watched the film first but the book didnt disapoint you get drawn into Anne's feelings the characters are very believeable and the story line is somthing most people can relate too and as always a happy ending tops the whole thing off :-) a great read and one i would definatly recomend .

this is what baught me into the world of Jane Austen and im so glad ive read it. The charming wit and believeable characters make this almost two hundred year old story still relevant and extremely popular a must read !
