This is the Portuguese (Brazilian) version of Anne Willan's salads book. The book is great: the recipes are showed in all their steps, there are lists of utensils, ingredients and a grocery list. There are great tips and its full of pictures for all the phases. In the end of each recipe there is a variation of it. There are recipes for different occasions, and seasons: one more reason to love salads.
Philip Pullman created a fantastic parallel world where people have animals attached to them, bears speak, there are witches, the Church has too much power and there is a slightly line between magic and reality. It's a great book, it catches your attention and you can't stop reading it until it ends

Philip Pullman created a fantastic parallel world where people have animals attached to them, bears speak, there are witches, the Church has too much power and there is a slightly line between magic and reality. It's a great book, it catches your attention and you can't stop reading it until it ends. The lonely brave Lyra is a inspiring little girl, which even afraid, knows what she has too do and keep going. But I think if I had at least less 18 years, I would like it much more. I highly recommend to "young adults" and teens.
The book has texts in English, French and German. The funny thing is: it was written by the directors of the Brazilian animation film festival, but the book wasn't release here by Taschen and it isn't available in Portuguese. The texts about the artists / animators, could have more information and d

The funny thing is: it was written by the directors of the Brazilian animation film festival, but the book wasn't release here by Taschen and it isn't available in Portuguese. The texts about the artists / animators, could have more information and details about more works. However, it's still a good reference book about animators and his works, full of beautiful images and links to their site, when available.
Este volume contém várias boas receitas de sopas, caldos, consomês, minestrones, veloutés e cremes. Há ainda no final, na "escola de cozinha", receitas de como preparar caldos, roux para sopas, massas para acompanhar sopas de pães torrados e suas derivações (torradas e croûtons).

Senti falta de mais receitas de sopas frias, e sopas mais diferentes, como alguma "sopa" doce.
O livro parece um dos melhores da coleção, recheado com receitas fáceis e com uma bela apresentação, mas uma olhada mais atenta mostra que boa parte as receitas dos sorvetes e sorbets requerem uma sorveteira. Ou seja, metade das receitas não podem ser feitas sem esse eletrodoméstico.
