sTORI Telling By Tori Spelling

Anyway, I managed to stumble upon her show Home Sweet Hollywood on Oxygen and fell in love, with Tori, Dean, Liam, their love for each other, etc. So, when I saw Tori was writing a book I HAD to have it. I'm so glad I bought this book and read it. It makes me think twice about all of the gossip magazines credibility and the truth behind all of this stuff we see on tv and in print. I finished this book wishing I could be friends with Tori. :) This was a very very good book!!

It's been a while since I've read a book where I actually fall in love with some characters and hate others, this was that kind of book. These characters will stay with me for a long time.

Drowning Ruth: (Oprah's Book Club) By Christina Schwarz
  • This book was good. I hate to give it 3 stars, but can't bear to give it 4. I started out loving it, then toward the end got bored, but I think that's only because it took me so long to read it. I had a hard time connecting with Lou the main character and wondered what was wrong with all of the other characters, too. I found myself sad when it came time to read thinking " do I really have to do this?" I don't like feeling that way about books. This book has some good qualities to it - I'm struggling right now to think of one. After reading this I can't fully say what it's about or what happened. Hopefully the author's next book will be better.
