it is ok, but I think I can write on economics and other perspective better than him.
As KamYung commented. Huang is only an early chinese to write in western world on chinese history in this western style, thus getting big fame. In fact most westerners write this way ,long before him. And his ... (continue)

In fact most westerners write this way ,long before him. And his fundamental is not as good as many chinese historians. And I do not think his viewpoint on economics or human geography reflect a good fundamental knowledge in this aspects

由於先前已經閱讀了《潛規則》和《血酬定律》在閱讀本書時，很多事情就一目了然，也能了解為什麼吳思先生會說這本書雖然有點出問題，但不夠清楚。黃仁宇先生應該是偏重於歷史的見解吧，在一些問題上只是點到即可，並未過多說明，算是著重於歷史的剖析上，提出自己的一番見解。而吳思先生又進一步的把這些問題深入剖析，緣由等等的就撰寫出來。
本著作，作者參考了許多歷史的文獻，費心的整理其內容，並提出自己的獨特見解，作為對歷史研究的貢獻。
