It's a book which I believe is still a bit hard for me. Of course I have no problem to read the words. But I believe there is still a far far way for me to actually understand the true meaning. It's a collection of a political column in SCMP by the government with Chinese Translation and comments by Tsao Chip.
And yeah when you see Mr. Tsao's name you will realise the style it was planted. God knows how it will be interpreted when it was commented by the others ? Sadly we only have this kind of people at this stage.
Back to the book, I would strongly agree we are all forgettable people. Did you still remember about the things before or during the handover? God damn it. What about Tung Chee wha passing to Donald Tsang? God damn it. It still takes some time for me to actually recall what happened.
As the author says, it does help me to know a little bit more about "our own past".

My two cents is that this one is better than Double Talk I. I share the author's view in many of his articles, esp the one on policy interrogation and pet policy of Housing Authority.

Not really like the title "Not Chinese; Not English." It's more like "Half Chinese; Half English." The original writings were in English, and they have translated them into Chinese. I wonder if it is an easy job to criticize government policies and social issues; or in Hong Kong's case, they made it easy for writers! I guess it's so easy to do social bashing, but to make it professional and every word make sense, it takes hard work and talents.

I like the 1st book more. Comparatively, this book consists of more content on political aspects, especially the Government and election. It's just not my cup of tea.
