There is repetition of some vital concept from the the volume one.
Like volume one , there are new and useful additional observations.
However, once becoming a practitioner, the authors inevitably committed some mistakes he observed in other doctors he mentioned..
Initial success in hitherto unsuccessful or poorly treated cases.......attracted lots of cases suitable for his concept and thus he got high percentage of success.........because of natural selection......rather than a real improvement of his skill or concept.
This initial success blinded the author into doing something quite wrong.....simply based on some letters he started to comment...which is utterly wrong....
the patient may not and cannot tell all the true information required for proper diagnosis...without feedback questioning from a senior doctor...
moreover, the description may not be accurate.
This tendency to answer and explain over the phone....or even worse..based on one sided letter...is common for junior doctors...
the so called answer comment is more for showing the known knowledge of the author rather than solving the problem.
THe author's concept of anemia is shockingly wrong and he repeated it again in volume two.
Probably no one has told him and he does not accept the advice.
A real clinician shares common feelings......more humble, refuse to accept a single explanation and treatment for all and sees the limitation in treatment due to the limitation of any special concept and the weakness of patient personality and perseverance...
The author is a good beginner, but it will take him some years to mature....
