Book Description

Kahlil Gibran 's Peoms are so great. His choice of words is beautiful and lift you to another level. His understanding is also deep and infinite. He gives you insights. This book is about the wordings from a holy man Almustafa. He is going to leave a city which he has lived. Then Almitra the Seeress ask him to leave the truth behind. The first topic he talks about is on Love. Then on marriage, children, giving ...etc.

Gibran's insight is like that of Osho. Touching the heart of existence, let you taste a bit of the sweetness.

    On "Pain"

"Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding... ... (continue)

"Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding... Much of your pain is self-chosen. It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self"

    On "Joy and Sorrow"

"Your joy is your sorrow unmasked... the deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain... when you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight...Joy and sorrow are inseparable."
