「衛斯理故事珍藏版」推出緣起：
明報出版社成立於二十年前的香港，而倪匡先生的科幻名著《鑽石花》更是本社的第一本出版物。經過多年來的無間合作，本社一共出版了99本倪匡作品，當中80本為「衛斯理科幻故事」。
2006年為明報出版社的二十周年誌慶，本社特別在80本「衛斯理科幻故事」中，精選20本作品，重新包裝製作，推出「衛斯理故事珍藏版」，以饗讀者。在新書中，倪匡先生特別提筆撰文，感謝讀者們年來對他與衛斯理的支持。
是套「衛斯理故事珍藏版」作品，擬訂於2005年底/2006年1月初起推出，首先以全新面貌出版的，是《尋夢》及《盜墓》。
「衛斯理」和「白素」都是家喻戶曉的人物，而倪匡先生的創作才華和豁達形象更為大眾所津津樂道，本社深信這套標誌著明報出版社二十周年紀念，而推出的「衛斯理故事珍藏版」作品，必成文壇佳話，並引起城中哄動。

作者簡介﹕
倪匡(衛斯理)是個怪人，做事往往出人意表。
近年，也許現在還是，他宣布了「戒酒」，但定義是酒可照飲，不過不要飲醉。
倪匡不懂駕駛，但迷上研究汽車時，曾經獨個兒把一部汽車化整為零後再裝嵌為原狀。他又花上幾年收集及鑽研貝殼，雖然最後意興闌珊把心愛的收藏賣掉，但他對貝殼的認識已達專家境界。
倪匡的廣泛興趣、過目不忘的本領以及鍥而不捨的研究精神，使他自一九五七年來港後的各類著作深入民心。他的作品組織嚴謹又帶啟發性，常使人有意想不到的收穫。
倪匡早年已移居美國，二○○五年重臨香港，颳起一陣「倪匡」旋風，風采依然。

The most interesting is Waiselei going to various secret islands and how Cheung destroyed the Nazi center.
It was based more on the theme of the popular James Bond films of spy but is well written and suitable for a movie even after half a century
the part on the dual personality of cheung's sister and being a Morieti sort of master mind of professional killers is really outstanding for books of that era, though dual personality of Freud was actually the vogue of Hollywood and European movies of those years
