作者簡介:
蔡寶瓊，五十年代生於香港一個勞工階層家庭，仗著堅持女兒讀書的母親，得以順利畢業於嘉諾撒聖心書院及香港大學社會學系，後來更取得賴以躋身大專界的牛津大學哲學博士學位。現任教香港中文大學教育學院。編著有《晚晚六點半－七十年代上夜校的女工》（進一步，1998）、《姨媽姑爹論盡教改》（進一步，2002）等。
