This book tells us that procedures of processions in crime scence are extremely important for a crime investigation and latter procecution in court. The procedures include restricting area of crime scence to prevent spoiling the scence; video, voice and paper recordings of observations imediately; taking photograph of evidence; collecting evidence to forensic laboratory for further testings and analyze; keeping records on all the evidence collected and then storing evidence in an appropriate place taht would not destroy the evidence. Evidence processed can be useful or use less depending on whether the procedures are strictly followed during investigation and examination. There must be enough evidence for each case, but still many cases could not be closed due to ignorance of some important evidence during collection on sites.

After reading this book, I see that beeing a forensic investigator must have both logical and inlogical thinking; in addition, processes required are complicated and guidelines must be followed by each relevant staff in order to recreate a criminal action by combining evidence collected and other investigating materials related. there will be a so called perfect case that criminal concerned cannot be arrested only if there is a step jumped in according to the standard proceduures of forensic procession and examination; therefore, I think criminals must leave evidence behine after they have commited crimes, so they can be identified and punished by the law for the wrong doing they have done; furthermore, forensic scientists and investigators are great and highly respectful in maintaining the law and order of a place.
