  活著的感覺是如此美妙,人們卻淡忘了這種感覺;

    You are the Joker who ran into my life and waked me up from my daydream. I realized that I was superficially happy and focused on my cliche daily life aimlessly. I don't know it's the universal standard or yours but I accepted the tag you put on me. Now I am conscious but confuse my identity. I will not kill you, like pokers did. Instead, I thank you although I know I would be happier keeping drinking the Rainbow Soda.

    I want to be you, but I am Spade K.

    in this book, Hans and his father's journey is a story and there is another story within the story, which is the sailor's. The two stories are intertwined and that really attracted me to keep reading it. The book was leading me into the inquiry of life. When we were in childhood, we were curious about many things around us. Maybe we once wondered who we are, where we human beings come from and asked our parents how and why. However the answer might be "go to bed; don't ask so many questions, you will figure it out one day." But do we really figure it out? The curiosity is wiping out little by little as we grew up and we became more and more sophisticated, taking everything for granted. Each of the 52 playing cards in the story play different roles and our lives are just like the game of solitaire. We are sometimes too blind and arrogant to distinguish between reality and fantasy, like the playing cards. In the part when the four "queens" look at the mirror to see their daces all the time, and the clown said " they care their appearances too much so they forgot their real goal of life." In addition, Han's dad once told him" if our brain is so simple that we can understand it, then we will be too stupid to understand our brain." And "Maybe God understands us, but then the god's brain would be too complicated for himself to understand." When i read those sentences, I sank into my own thought for a long time. I found that there are still many things i don't understand but I just didn't think about that before because i take those things for granted. Many of us are like what the story tells, we think the world is too ordinary, so we want to explore something different and mysterious. Therefore, we ignore the nature around us, and forget how marvelous the earth is.

    Hans and his story lead me into a new world. I followed Hans to discover myself and the world and learn to appreciate the nature while reading it.
