Nice excerpts but lousy analyses

Either it's the problem of the publisher which tries too hard to make the book think enough to sell it pricey or the editor trying to hard to show off his critique capability that reduces the pleasure in reading the book. The excerpts are well-chosen though. Good for junior college kids.
