first read when it was first written nearly half a century ago, on MingPao. At that time it was really thrilling and suspense. Now reading it much older and as a whole book, I still feel the success of the plot. Though the description was still a weak point in Ngai Hong, his main theme still qualifies as a monumental SF, and for a good TV drama or Movie.
The story is now nearly more SF then adventure. But the most outstland part is the King Killer became useless and mentally collapsed after becoming transparent. This is definitely a great advancement compare to the original novel, ' THE INVISIBLE MAN'
Final part of the story is an unknown answer and anticlimax as usual, but have to accept it as Ngai Hong's habit to make the story undebatable in real life.
