作者簡介

瑞．科倫 (Ray Kluun)

天使與魔鬼的綜合體，讓歐美讀者又愛又恨的作家

一九六四年出生。

　　他在妻子三十六歲時因癌症離開人世後，帶著他的小女兒搬到澳洲去生活，為了療癒心中的傷痛，他著手寫下了《陪妳到最後》。這本幾乎可以說是他人生翻版的小說，在二○○三年出版後，於荷蘭的銷售量已突破一百萬冊，更售出三十餘國翻譯版權。二○○六年更榮獲荷蘭國家讀者文學獎（JK羅琳的《哈利波特──火盃的考驗》荷文版於二○○一年亦曾奪得此獎項）。

　　隨後他在二○○六年出版了續集《鰥夫的日子》（De weduwnaar），亦深獲好評。

　　成為暢銷書作家後，他辭去原本的工作，專心寫作。獨自一人坐在家中的電腦前寫作，已經成為他最喜愛的事，因為沒有人教他怎麼寫，所以他可以快樂地用自己的方式寫心中的故事。

when i got this book from my uncle, he told me "you will definetly cry after u read the book..."

Because i wasn't that easy to be touched by books...i will get the feeling but not cry for it usually, i gave myself a shot in that night. When i read, i could stop, even i had to work in the next day. The book's content would just make people couldn't help him/herself to stop...The word is not that difficult, even it's based on the wife had disease...and it's not that boring or depressing even it's talked about the relationship. Hard to image it's written by a man coz the context is so exquisite...when i read til the wife was getting ready to face her future...i couldn't help myself but started choking with sobs...even i felt angry about the husband...haha...
i think it's a book for everyone believes or believed true love to read...you will know love can be shown in different ways, no matter acceptable or not.

I know handle with cancer is hard to everyone, but I can't accept when a wife was suffering it, the husband were having an affair and didn't think he was wrong. I neither enjoy nor learn anything new from it. (The cancer information was mentioned in the book I already knew it from other books.) Exc ... (continue)
