  if you love the original His Dark Materials series, absolutely madly insanely love it, then read this book.

  Otherwise, don't bother.

  Simply magic...

  ... for those who loved His Dark Materials, and even more for those lucky who can say to have lived in Oxford for a while. For all the others, pick up His Dark Materials first, and leave this little book for other times...

  It's great to have something new concerning His Dark Materials but this book was so empty that it made me sad (and disappointed too). The story is really super short. If the novel was five times or ten times longer, it would have been better.
