What a great historical fiction/romance! I enjoyed getting to know both the main characters. Turnbull uses alternating to chapters to shift the narrator's voice. One chapter is told from the perspective of Will, the young man, and Sarah, the young Quaker woman. It was very interesting to peek into that time period in England's history. I wonder if paralells could be drawn between religious persecution of that time to some of the religious persecution of our time. Hmmmm, maybe a discussion starter.
