    • This was probably my favorite of the series. It goes into the backstory and provides the greatest understanding of the world Harry Potter lives in.

    • I listened to this one for the first time and love it. The narrator, Jim Dale, has improved since the first novel. I can't wait to listen to the next one.

For twelve long years, the dread fortress of Azkaban held an infamous prisoner named Sirius Black. Convicted of killing thirteen people with a single curse, he was said to be the heir apparent to the Dark Lord, Voldemort.

Now he has escaped, leaving only two clues as to where he might be headed: Harry Potter's defeat of You-Know-Who was Black's downfall as well. And the Azkaban guards heard Black muttering in his sleep, "He's at Hogwarts...he's at Hogwarts."

Harry Potter isn't safe, not even within the walls of his magical school, surrounded by his friends. Because on top of it all, there may well be a traitor in their midst.

    • I enjoyed this book more than the first as it contained an increased amount of mature conent. I expect that will be the case as the characters age.

Book Description

Harry Potter, along with his best friends, Ron and Hermione, is about to start his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry can’t wait to get back to school after the summer holidays. (Who wouldn’t if they lived with the horrible Dursleys?) But when Harry gets Hogwarts, the atmosphere is tense. There’s an escaped mass murderer on the loose, and the sinister prison guards of Azkaban have been called in to guard the school…

A fantastic new story featuring Harry and his friends from the spellbinding J.K. Rowling.
