  I was really worried about reading such an old book and if I'd still enjoy it or not. It is so weird to me now to read that someone has to go look for a phone to make a call rather than just pick up their cell that it throws me out of the story sometimes and makes it hard to get back into it.   I was really worried about reading such an old book and if I'd still enjoy it or not. It is so weird to me now to read that someone has to go look for a phone to make a call rather than just pick up their cell that it throws me out of the story sometimes and makes it hard to get back into it. Even though there was a lot of that, this story was good enough that it didn't matter. I really enjoyed the main character, though none of the other characters were very well developed. The main character was very clever and that made the book a lot of fun. I'll be reading more by this author.

  Great start of a new series for me. If you like the Dexter novels, this will probably be a great fit for you. I'm anxious to start reading more of this series.
