This is not "Alien Spidermen Chew Up Memphis," but is a serious look into how contact may one day come about and what it will mean to our planet!

• A science fiction novel by the most influential nonfiction writer in my early teens. It's a good, smart story but like all of Sagan's books there's clearly also a gentle argument for secularism and a life devoted to science.
