  • A sad story about a teenage girl growing up in foster homes. It is a great read and a very descriptive and emotive book. The writing style is deep and you can really get involved in the main character's life. Very similar style to Paint it Black, the author's other book.

  • My favourite book of all times, it tells of a mother-daughter relationship that makes you resent of it at first but gradually in the end, it's so touching it makes you cry. There are many themes in the book following a girl's journey through adolescence and love.
