  the best victorian novel ever.
  I just could not stop reading it.
  It’s amazing the way with this book is written.
  And Eliot is just amazing.

  And now, it turns up that George Elliot is a woman!!! I didn't know it! when did this happen?

  The book is about a family in an ancient time. I love her style. Why did she have to say that she was a boy?

  Maybe the assertion of the women the equal status is a bit out of fashion, but the norton edition are the best in terms of sources and critical mass.
