You can appreciate the author's ability to build up three stories of successful women, effectively entwining the plot and leaving no chance to bump into dull moments. Or you can realize that years of female emancipation have brought women and men to play the same game with the same rules and one goal: be extraordinary rich, possibly with a terrace over Central Park. So depressing.

  • Easy and interesting. Bushnell wrote it in simple and straight forward language. I like the three main characters, the successfull businesswomen in their early forty.

  • I really loved this book, it trapped me and I actually couldn't stop reading it...I felt so sorry when it was over! Candace Bushnell did a great job!
