Graffianti graffiti

Meglio di un corsivo, più incisivo, più diretto, senza necessità di comprare il giornale e navigare su internet. Eversivo, ironico, anarchico, ce n'è per tutti, sotto gli occhi di tutti. Da abbinare, ovviamente, alla visione di "Exit through the gift shop".

The people who truly deface our neighbourhoods are the companies that scrawl giant slogans across buildings and buses trying to make us feel inadequate unless we buy their stuff. They expect to be able to shout their message in your face from every available surface but you're never allowed to answer back. Well, they started the fight and the wall is the weapon of choice to hit them back.

Rabbia, humor e grazia

Nella copertina del libro non si vede, ma nella mano destra il ragazzo bendato tiene un mazzo di fiori, colorati. Mentre ti aspetteresti un sasso.
E' in questo mix di rabbia, humor e grazia che dimora l'arte di Bansky.

Quando resti a bocca aperta...

guardando un artista contemporaneo, vuol dire che si può ancora comunicare qualcosa di nuovo, sorprendente, stimolante per la riflessione. Una vera rivelazione.
